The organization’s long-time signature fundraiser, LifeWalk, will retain its name. LifeWalk is Dallas’ largest and longest running AIDS walk. It seems that the name is not really a change in the organization’s direction, but rather allowing the name to catch up to the breadth of important work they’ve already been doing for years, which includes outreach and education, testing (HIV, syphilis & hepatitis C), counseling, support/social groups, research and high-quality medical care at its two Dallas clinics, Trinity-Oak Cliff and Peabody-South Dallas. “The name Prism Health reflects the broad array of services we provide, as well as the diversity we see in the needs of the community, and the people we serve,” he added.
