As one of the most iconic names on the Las Vegas Strip, the Mandalay Bay Convention Center has recently undergone an exciting upgrade. It's just a dirty place in a bad location with subpar employees.Here at Mandalay Bay, venues are inviting and innovative. Yet those who are just scraping by to create a fun night for kids and nights for kids and special needs kids, are treated like these kids don't deserve it bc of MONEY. It seems the ones who can pay big $ get the royal treatment' like auto shows. My fiance and kids had (against my better judgement) food that was under or over cooked and sides were subpar at best. When we did get in for one event, the cafateria was a MESS. Even parking was strange bc we tried the front doors once and they were locked, so we parked in back and waited (in snowy cold weather) for someone to come out the back door before we got in. So the events we atteneded were 'last minute' changed events that many ppl missed. Plans for most of our group events attended were NOT the 'paying' groups fault in planning, but the expo centers lack of and last minute communication with the events planned there. Everything was so disorganized and I first blamed it on the event planners of the groups activities we attended/belonged to for all the chaos, but after speaking with them, I realized these people had so many issues with the expo center's correspondents and last minute call backs.
We've been here a few times with our kids for events like 4H fun/game night and such.
